Signe was very excited as Valentine's Day approached. I don't think she really understood it. She kept saying that it was "a sweet day." I'm not sure where she heard that. Her party at school was postponed due to a Noreaster, which dumped a foot of snow on us. She had no interest in writing her Valentines. She just kept saying it was a sweet day.
Due to the weather, Kent's office closed early so everyone could get home. While he & Signe shoveled and played in the snow. I set the table with our china and candles. Dinner was a treat of heart shaped brownies with whip cream and sprinkles. Anni devoured her brownie. Signe was more interested in the sprinkles. I don't think she even ate half.
