More recap

Once a post gets too long, it's hard to move the picture to go with the text. So I started another post to tell you a few more things.

Signe is learning to roller skate. Her school has Friday night skates once a month. Kent took her for the first time this month. She did pretty well and had a great time. Many of her Kindergarten classmates were there.












Anni suddenly LOVES this fire hat. I have no idea why, we've had it forever. I think we brought it from CA. She seem to think she is a super model too. Not sure why or how she knows what a super model is, but she sure does pose for me.









































We've discovered modeling clay, which is mostly replacing play-doh. It isn't as soft until you knead it a little, but at least it doesn't dry out. It never fails that as soon as I put the play-doh away, Anni wants it back out. Signe was inspired by the book "If You Take a Mouse to School" to make a block & clay house. (The mouse builds one at school.) Now we're using the block and clay to make all kinds of furniture for our friends. Sometimes the friends are made of clay. Other times, they are action figures.

A Little Recap

It's been awhile since I posted, so here is a quick recap.






Christmas Morning - Santa brought just what they asked for. Anni's favorite part is always the chocolate.






























Next sliding at the cabin. There were so many people sliding that the girls got to go as many times they wished.














If you look closely, you can see Anni behind the puff of snow. She didn't mind, she thought it was great fun.

New Year's Day was exciting! Signe lost her first tooth. It had been barely hanging on, but she wouldn't let us pull it out. I think she literally pushed on it with her tongue and it fell out. You can see that her second loose tooth is leaning over. It fell out two days later, after I encouraged her to wiggle it with her fingers. It took about 5 wiggles. We were sure she'd loose a tooth before Christmas, then before we got home. But she was just too nervous to let us even touch it.
