Smiles anyone?

I am so excited that I finally captured a smiling picture of Anni. She is a very happy, talkative gal. She'll even talk to herself in the mirror if there's no one else to talk to.

We're getting ready to go to fly to Minnesota. We leave on Wednesday. Wish me luck. There are a lot of things to take with a 3 year-old and 2 month old. I hope we it will fit in the car and can carry it all.

I figured out a way to get Signe to agree to more pictures... take some of Anni. She always wants in on the action.

The Sweetest Santa

On Friday, we braved a snow storm to see Santa. Kent's offices were closed because they are moving. So we thought it would be a great time to go with smaller crowds. Going out wasn't the smartest thing on our part. Luckily nothing happened, but man what a lot of snow - 12 inches! Kent had to shovel snow just so we could get into the garage.

It took a little convincing, but Signe did talk to Santa. He was so sweet and wonderful at getting her to talk. All she wants are toys or presents - nothing specific.

I hadn't planned on putting Anni in Santa's lap. Just too many germs and she is just too little (7 weeks old). But Kent was holding her and Santa held out his arms to take her. I think this picture is worth whatever germs to picked up.

Testing the light in my new house. Our dining room has great light and creates FAB catch-lights. I am so excited!

Signe cooperated and I got some great shots. Now only if I had planned this and her hair was brushed and her clothes a little more Christmasy. C'est La Vie!

A Blog

For quite some time now I have been wondering if I need a blog. I am so inspired by the other blogs I see from the gals at 2peas. So here it is... Hopefully, I can find the hands-free time I need to post to it.
