Signe's 5

Here are a few birthday party photos. I have really fun video of her blowing out the candles on her actual birthday, but still have to get it off the camera.

Just of couple of pictures

I've been bad with the blog lately. So here are a couple of pictures. Not much tell about them. Signe is wearing a new unitard from Gramma Lolo, pretending she's a cat.

Anni is sporting her new "cheese" grin that really isn't much of a smile. I sure hope it goes away soon. Though the wrinkled nose is pretty cute.

Halloween Pictures

Just a few photos from Halloween. I made Signe's penguin costume for just $4 in fun foam!

Signe thinks that all kids get to dress up for Halloween multiple times. Being able to attend so many events definitely makes Halloween more fun. This year we celebrated with a party at the elementary school, Signe's pre-school party, trick or treating at Dad's office and our neighborhood. She was even saying that she was going to be different things for different events. Fortunately, our dress up box is well stocked and she picks from there. Signe was mostly a penguin - once she was Cinderella for Dad's office. Anni was a kitty and Minnie Mouse - though she wouldn't keep her ears on for either costume.

On actually Halloween, we only trick or treat 2 houses on our street. Which is just fine at this age. Plus with all the other events, we already had tons of goodies.

Signe wanted me to dress up at the last minute, so I threw together a little witch outfit. You can just bately see the hat on my head.

Kent's not sure he's ready for me to share a picture of his Halloween custume.... so you'll just have to ask him about it if you want to know.

Pumpkin Painting

Our library hosted a pumpkin carving party. At first Signe said she wanted to carve her pumpkin, so I cut it open, and pulled out the guts (because she wouldn't touch them). Then Signe saw that Anni was going to paint her pumpkin and wanted to paint too.

We brought them home and put them on the front porch to dry. Then it rained - a lot. Much of the paint washed off and left colorful streaks of paint on our white porch. A little scrubbing cleaned it away. Signe's pumpkin didn't make it Halloween because of being cut open on the 18th.

Halloween pictures coming soon. I still have to upload them from my camera.
