At the Cabin

Is there a better way to spend the lazy days of summer - swim all day & fish in the evening. We were fortunate to be able to spend 3 full days at Aunt Karen's cabin. Just hanging out and having fun.

This was so funny. It was one of the first slow dances. Signe & this little girl decided to dance like everyone else. We were all giggling from the sidelines.

Lastly, Signe pole dancing. All of the kids were spinning & dancing around this pole that held up the tent. Of course, they don't know what pole dancing is, but it sure made us parents worry just a bit.

And where was Anni during all this fun? Fast asleep in the house, with Remmy keeping watch.

So many pictures to share

from our Minnesota trip. 408 to be exact. And I am not in a SINGLE photo. I guess I'm going to have to work on handing the camera over to someone else.

Many of these photos have stories. I'll try to tell them, though it may take a while.

Anni wasn't too sure about the sand. It took her until our 5th day at the lake to feel comfortable enough to leave the shore.






Our little streaker... poor Anni had an accident in her swim diaper. This had never happened before and we were unprepared.. so she enjoyed the remainder of the afternoon in the buff.









Signe on the other hand, thought the water was fabulous and spent as much time as she could in it. Though streaking must run in the family, because every time Signe return from the outhouse, she was naked. Her wet swimsuit was too tough to get back on without help.














If the lemon or lime is missing off of your drink, this little gal is probably your culprit. She only got away with it twice, but you can believe she tried a lot more. One of the best ways to keep her entertained at the parties was to give her a bowl of lemon slice. She'd clean every bit off lemon off the slices.

Rise & Shine

This is Signe's first morning in her new bed. Green paint and fish bedding is new too. She is very thrilled with her new room.
