St. Patrick's Day

The day before St. Patrick's Day, we decorated a treasure box. Because when the leprecauns come out they leave treats, gifts or gold in the treasure boxes they find. If you find where they hid them, what's inside is your to keep. Signe had a treasure box the she had made at school in September and didn't want a new one. So we made one for me. We painted it purple and covered it with glitter glue.

On St. Patrick's Day morning, it was easy to find where the treasure box hidden because of the glittery trail the leprecauns left. (Not the smartest idea. It will take weeks to get it all off of the wood floor.) It was filled with gold wrapped chocolate that we shared.

For breakfast, we had green eggs & ham at Signe's request. They sort of look like play-doh. She was thrilled. Signe made the hat at school and I made the shirts for them. (boy do I miss Old Navy.)

Now look at these cute girls and you tell me who's the lucky one!
