New Tricks I Can Do

Anni's latest tricks. She has mastered droppin the blocks down this giraffes neck. Plus she can put the stars on the stick. She gets very frustrated when she plays with the "old fashioned" stacking rings because it matters which order you put them on in. Still she doesn't have any trouble getting them on.

She's One!

Here's Anni wondering what the heck this cake & candle are for. She had no idea what to do, but figured out that it tasted good pretty quickly.

Vegatables

So here is our meager harvest. It's a good thing that we don't have to live off of what we grow. Kent has good excuses... it rained most of June, so he didn't plant until almost the end. Then the patch that was already a garden doesn't get enough sunshine. (Next year it will be in a different place.) Regardless, Signe enjoyed the whole process tremendously. She even gnawed on a few pieces of this pitiful corn. And was always thrilled when she got to eat a tiny carrot
right out of the ground.

Apple Picking

The highlight of our apple picking trip was this HUGE pumpkin. Well, at least for Signe. She really hammed it up for the camera. Just before I snapped the "serious" one she had been kissing it.

The apple farm was actually in New Hampshire. It was a beautiful farm and included a pond. The fall colors were just amazing.

Here is Anni just cruising along. I love this beginning walking stage. She looked so sweet in her overalls!

Sorry, no apple pictures from our apple picking trip!

Pumpkin Love

Signe insisted that she needed a happy jack-o-lantern. With a picture like this, I feel like I got my 97 cents worth.
