temperature is wired for it. The child runs so hot. Unfortunately, with a new baby, it's tough for us to get outside to play in it most weekdays. But Wednesday was a good day. Anni napped long enough that we could get dressed and play outside for 35 minutes. 35 minutes in 4 inches of fresh snow. Just damp enough that she could make a snow ball. Just warm enough at 34 degrees that Mommy didn't freeze.
We played "stick holes". I have no idea why, but here's the game. Pull up the dead stalks of the lilies. Put them in the snow in a line. There you have the game of Stick Holes. Well, as long as she had fun.
Anni is licking her hands. She may be a thumb sucker after all. She can't quite get her fingers or thumb in her mouth. So she settles for any part of her hand. It only lasts a few seconds, but you can tell she is delighted. I can't decide if I would rather have her taking a binky or thumb. Six in one hand, half--dozen in the other.
