Honestly, I haven't posted much because I don't seem to have any good pictures to share. I'm not quite sure why, but I haven't used my camera much. But just because I don't have pictures, doesn't mean the girls haven't been doing cute things.
Since the beginning of the year, Signe seems to fixate on a character and pretend to be that character for days on end. It started with Mumble, who is the penguin in the movie Happy Feet. She would wear her green plastic dress-ups shoes (because they made noise) all day at pre-school. I even had to write her lunch note to Mumble. Then, sadly, her green shoes broke. Heck, they were only a dollar. Luckily, I found a pair of black sparkley shoes on clearance, which immediately replaced the green ones. She spent a couple of weeks as Mumble. Then she was Stitch, from Lilo & Stitch. Though Stitch was quickly replaced by Pikachu.
She discovered Pikachu at the library, thanks to her friend Kasey. Pikachu has been long-lived, but has no costume. She spent at least a month being Pikachu. Then as we read more books and saw some of the videos, she began to be other Pokemon. The Pikachu obssession is more involved then Mumble. She LOVES to play Pikachu, dictating the story to whomever she is playing with - usually me. This games can go on FOREVER, often making me a little crazy. Hopefully, the Pikachu & Meowth that the bunny brought will change how we play this game.
When Signe grows up, she has decided that she is moving to Hawaii. Why Hawaii you ask? Because she saw the photos from our trip in 2001. She thinks Hawaii is beautiful and that is reason enough to live there.
Lastly Signe spent weeks starting most sentences with "Actually". It didn't matter what we said, we were often corrected. The other thing that she has been saying a ton is "I have to tell you something." At first every time she said it, I felt a little uneasy. Now it's no big deal, because she says it so often.
This is long, so I do another post about Anni.

Hey you! It was so nice to hear from you! Isn't it funny how we felt the same about sketches. I'm totally with you, too! I love that my pages are getting done and that I love them. I was cracking up reading about the "I have to tell you something" statement. Dylan does this every day and often. It's pretty funny! Take care!
