On our way to the cabin, Kent noticed a bald eagle near some road kill. So we stopped the car to look. Luckily, my camera was very nearby. The bird was in a woody area and couldn't take flight immediately. It afforded me the time to snap a few shots before he took off. It was a really cool thing to see.
