I have always been amazed by how quickly kids can learn things. But now as I watch my own children learn, it's even more amazing. On Wendesday, I introduced the computer to Signe. She was very disappointed that she had slept through Little Einsteins, so I showed her the Little Einsteins games at Playhouse Disney. She struggled to operate the mouse. On Thursday, she asked to play on the computer again. By the end of her comuter session, she had figured out that if she used one hand to click and the other to move the mouse, she could go where she wanted to. On Friday, she figured out how to leave Little Einsteins and explore the other characters on Playhouse Disney. She fearlessly clicked on whatever character she liked, trying all of the games and activities. Some times she needed a little help figure out what the point of the game is, but then she was good to go.
Do you think it's possible to inherit computer skills? If so, maybe she's got Mommy's golden finger. That would be a very good thing is this age of technology.
